📢 Important Community Announcement from Meridian Public Schools 🐴💙

On November 3, 2026, Meridian voters will consider a $13.95 million bond proposal with a ZERO tax rate increase over the current levy. After listening to community feedback, the district revised the proposal to focus exclusively on essential infrastructure updates:

🧱 Roof Replacements at all three school buildings
🌡️ HVAC, Ventilation, and Septic System replacements
🔒 Security System Enhancements & updated building controls

By prioritizing these critical needs now, we can protect our general operating budget and keep classroom funds focused directly on our students!

🗣️ Get the Facts & Join the Conversation!
Want to learn more about the proposal, voter registration, or absentee voting? Join Superintendent Sarah Glann for an upcoming Community Information Session at the MECHS Auditorium:

🗓️ Friday, September 18th at 10:00 AM
🗓️ Monday, September 21st at 6:00 PM

📍 Full details are available anytime at https://www.merps.org/page/bond.
Thank you for your continued partnership and Mustang Pride! 🐴✨#ReachHigher #MeridianMustangs #MustangsTHRIVE

Bond Needs
Bond 2026
🇺🇸 Today, the Mustang Community pauses to remember the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. 🕊️

We honor the lives lost and the families, friends, and communities forever changed that day. ❤️
We also remember the courage of first responders, the compassion of neighbors, and the countless acts of service and kindness that emerged in the days that followed. 🚒🤝

Twenty-five years later, we remember not only what happened, but the importance of coming together, caring for one another, and choosing compassion in the face of adversity. 🕊️

We remember. We honor. We stand together. 🇺🇸❤️
