From all of us at Meridian Public Schools, we wish you a Merry Christmas, Mustangs! #ReachHigher #MeridianMustangs #MerryChristmas

’Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the school,
Not a creature was stirring—no students or staff in sight.
The lockers stood silent, the hallways were clear,
No bells were a-ringing, no backpacks were near.
The classrooms lay waiting, lights dimmed nice and low,
With visions of Christmas and cocoa to go.
Whiteboards were spotless, the Chromebooks asleep,
Even homework took a much-needed sleep.
The Mustangs all rested, the school staff at ease,
After weeks full of learning and holiday cheer.
Bus drivers had parked for a well-earned break,
No routes to be driven till the new year's mornings awake.
Food service had cleaned every pan, tray, and plate,
No trays to carry, no lunch line to stand—see you in January, just as planned!
Custodians shined every floor, hall, and stair,
So the school gleamed with pride and care.
Secretaries typed their last email just right,
While tech staff repaired devices just right.
The superintendent checked calendars twice,
And wished everyone rest—and weather quite nice.
So here’s to the Mustangs, calm, quiet, and bright,
As they dream of returning when the time is just right.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
Merry Christmas Eve, Mustangs! 💚❤️🎄 #ReachHigher #MeridianMustangs

🎉🐴A Morning With Our Littlest Mustangs🐴🎉
Superintendent Glann spent the morning visiting our preschool classrooms at the Meridian Early Childhood Center and let’s just say our littlest Mustangs wasted no time inviting her into their classrooms. They even offered a little “style guidance,” which she happily accepted. 😄✨
Visits like this remind us how important early childhood education truly is. These classrooms are filled with imagination, language development, early problem-solving, and the social skills that set the stage for future success. Every day, our preschoolers are learning through play, and thriving because of it.
A huge thank-you to our amazing Meridian Early Childhood Center teachers for creating joyful, engaging, and nurturing spaces for our youngest learners. We are so proud of the strong start they’re giving every Mustang. 💙

“The Snow Day That Wasn’t — Mustang Edition”
❄️ Well… every Mustang in Meridian saw that snowstorm roll in and thought,
“Surely this is it. Surely THIS is my snow day moment.”
Mother Nature said, “Here’s 6 inches of snow,” and the Mustang spirit replied,
“Nice try… see you Monday!” 😄
So yes , Thanksgiving break is over, alarms are officially back on, and we cannot wait to welcome our Mustangs bright and early tomorrow!
Bundle up, grab those gloves you swear you didn’t lose in the hallway somewhere, and bring your very best post-Turkey-Day energy.
We’ll handle the heat, the smiles, and maybe even a sprinkle of hot-cocoa vibes. ☕️😉
Drive safe, and we will see you tomorrow, Mustang Nation! 💙🐴❄️
