This week, we are proud to celebrate Public Schools Week (February 23–27, 2026)!
Last week, we joined fellow public school districts across Midland County to accept a proclamation from the Midland County Board of Commissioners officially designating this week as Public Schools Week. This celebration aligns with the Learning First Alliance’s National Public Schools Week, recognizing the positive impact of public education and the strong partnerships between schools, families, and our community.
The proclamation was submitted in partnership with Academic & Career Education Academy, Bullock Creek School District, Coleman School District, Midland County Educational Service Agency, Windover High School, and Midland Public Schools.
We are grateful to our partners and friends at Midland County, Michigan, for recognizing Public Schools Week and for their continued support of our districts and community.
Public schools are proud to serve as economic drivers, major employers, community partners , and most importantly, places where thousands of Meridian students learn, grow, and feel they belong.
Thank you to the Mustang school community for allowing us to serve you! 💙🐴 #ReachHigher #MustangsTHRIVE
