Join us in honoring the Meridian Early College High School Class of 2020:

Thursday, June 4 @7PM

Senior Send-Off Parade:

Thursday, June 4@7PM. Meridian Public Schools. Class of 2020 members, with their families, will parade through the district in their cars with the final stop at the High School to receive your diploma! NOTE: We were notified today of possible shipping delays for diplomas. If diplomas have not arrived by June 4, we will be unable to hand these out during this event. Meridian Public Schools faculty, staff, and local community will be present to help “send off” the Class of 2020. 

Class of 2020 should enter through the Barden Road entrance promptly at 7PM and will follow the loop in front of the Junior High, loop through Central Office,Elementary school, and then through the High School. Class of 2020 families are encouraged to decorate your cars in honor of your graduate! WEAR YOUR CAP/GOWN!!!  

PARADE ROUTE:

Senior Night Lights: 

SAME DATE AS SEND-OFF PARADE: Thursday, June 4, 8:20PM. Meridian Football Stadium. 78 minutes of lights in honor of the MECHS Class of 2020 (one minute for each graduate). In respect to social distancing requirements, please remain in your vehicles if visiting the stadium. You are encouraged to stay home and shine your porch lights to celebrate our graduates. 

With current COVID-19 restrictions of groups larger than 100, your support is requested in ensuring we adhere to social distancing guidelines by remaining in your car or shining your porch light in support of these individuals.  If you must leave your car, please maintain social distancing requirements and show support from designated community/family zones noted on the map below.

A formal graduation is scheduled for Friday, August 7, 7PM at Meridian Football Stadium.
