It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to our Mustang Families. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone. There are shelters in the area at Coleman High School, Bullock Creek High School, Midland High School, West Midland Family Center and the Midland Mall. At this point, we are suspending all learning until further notice. Please stay safe. I have great faith that this community will pull through this.

Meridian Public Schools are continuing to make plans in the likely event that the school closing order extends beyond April 13th. We have put together a survey that is intended to find out how we can further support our students and families. The survey will only take a couple of minutes to complete. Midland County Emergency Food Pantry Network Mobile Pantry is giving away free no questions asked food TODAY, 3/20. Please bring empty bags and/or boxes Proof of income will not be needed Signatures are not required. Registration: 9:00 AM in your car. Distribution: 11:30 AM. Food brought to your car. Our meal program has been finalized. Meals will begin on Thursday. They are available for pickup at Meridian Junior High from 12-2pm or Sanford Elementary from 4-6pm. Delivery is available if you do not have the ability to pick up. Delivery is Monday & Thursday from 12-2. Pickup days after will be Monday and Thursday at the same times. Meridian will be providing meals to children under 18 during the school shutdown. We are looking to see if families are interested​ in this. Please complete the survey at https://forms.gle/377QfQhobxaKEjDk8 or by going to www.merps.org and click on menu, quicklinks and school shutdown meal information. ​Responses to this form are due by MONDAY, MARCH 16, AT 9AM.

Charter Communications is offering free internet access to families with school age and college age children during the school shutdown. Starting March 16, this will be available for 60 days. To enroll, call 1-844-488-8395. Installation fees will be waived.
