Last Friday, Governor Whitmer signed snow day forgiveness legislation for the four days that were declared as a State of Emergency. As a result of that legislation, Meridian Public Schools will return to the originally published school calendar and end with a half day on Thursday, June 6th. We thank you for your patience as we waited on our legislators in Lansing to take action.

Phones are currently down at Meridian Elementary. If a message must be delivered to our office, please contact the Administration Office at 989-687-3200. Thank you.

To clarify, the previous message regarding early dismissal is for the high school ONLY. The high school will dismiss at 2PM tomorrow to allow safe travel time for those heading to Petoskey. We apologize for any confusion.

Students will be released at 2PM tomorrow to allow adequate travel time to make it safely to the boys' basketball quarterfinal game in Petoskey. Buses will still run at 3 PM for all students who remain on campus at the end of the day. Look for an email with more information.

There will be no pre-sale tickets for the basketball game tomorrow night. Tickets must be purchased at the door.

Reminder for High School students to sign up for the spirit bus to Houghton Lake tonight! Deadline is 2pm today. Get your $6 to the office and sign up. Lets pack the gym tonight with fans! This is what a full gym looks like during our last game! #PackTheGym #MustangBasketball
