Due to the pandemic, the State of Michigan has EXTENDED the priority deadline to complete the FAFSA - the deadline is now May 1st! Complete your FAFSA by the new May 1 deadline in order to receive the maximum amount of financial aid you qualify for!
Welcome Back! With Spring break over, MECHS wants to remind families that TONIGHT, Tuesday, April 6, after-school enrichment programs, including the PASS tutoring program and ELA Elements of Writing course, WILL operate as scheduled with transportation. After-school meals are also available to ALL learners Monday-Thursday in the MECHS cafeteria until 3:30PM.

Spring Learner-Led Conferences are here! All face-to-face MECHS learners have grades and artifacts they have created in class to share with families. Please ask your child to share these points of pride and encourage conversation about their academic progress.
After this conversation, if you have a concern about your child’s academic progress, you can request a virtual conference with a specific teacher by sending an email or phone call.
